Sifu Klaus Brand and the IAW

After obtaining proficiency in the system, Sifu Klaus Brand sought to further refine the art by researching techniques and examining every detail from the beginning to the end. Some ideas were kept, some were added, and some were completely taken out. The result was the creation of a new system that is quite different in comparison. Every technique was made stronger and even more refined, precise, and efficient. The concepts of forward pressure, sticking, relaxtion, and flexibility were given more logical methods of application. From then on, Sifu Brand started teaching his method and created the International Academy of WingChun. Sifu Brand continues to further develop WingChun even now.

The IAW emphasizes quality in both the instruction and its members. The academy is filled with people who are open-minded and love to train self-defense.
